St. Thomas' Youth Groups
Tom-Toms is a group for young children, which is held in The Canterbury Room during the 9:30am service on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month.
On the first Sundays, these are kept for the Family services. The fifth Sundays are for joint United Benefice services, where the venue moves between each of the three C of E churches at Goring, Streatley and South Stoke. Tom-Toms is available on the fifth Sunday, only when the service is held at St Thomas'.
There are a variety of activities, such as, singing, Bible stories and crafts. The children begin the service in church before moving through to The Canterbury Room. They join you again for the last part of the service.

We currently meet together twice a month in school term time from 5.00-6.30pm in The Canterbury Room of St Thomas'. Check the calendar for exact dates.
Our main thing is having fun whilst finding out about being a Christian. We like talking together about what we think. Sometimes we do mammoth things such as a 12hr musical marathon to fund-raise for charity. But mostly our group is about playing messing-about games, quizzes, crafts, and occasionally a bit of baking (usually something chocolatey)! We have been known to take over and run a whole church service. At the end of term we like a party, a film show and pizza, or an outing such as ten pin bowling. Anyone living in the area who doesn't come along is really missing out!
